Winter Conditioning

§   Registration Form – Registration form must be completed by all athletes. This provides the team basic athlete and parent information, and this is also where you’ll submit all sport-specific documents to the crew team. Please have all paperwork below ready before you complete the registration form.

§  Concussion Training – PWCS concussion training is required once a year for all student athletes. Participants must complete concussion training online through the Arbiter Sports portal. The PWCS online concussion training can be accessed through the following link – Click here to log in

§  Current Physical – Once completed by a physician please turn in a copy to the school. You must submit the physical online through the Arbiter Sports portal. The current physical form can be found below.

§  Emergency Card – Completed card must be uploaded into the online Crew Registration Form for submission. The Emergency Card document can be found below

§  Crew Release of Liability Form – Completed Release of Liability must be uploaded into the online Crew Registration Form for submission. – found below

§  Woodbridge Crew Handbook – Signed handbook must be uploaded into the online Crew Registration Form for submission. The handbook can be found below

§  Cost – The cost for winter conditioning for the 2025-26 season is $45 for returning rowers and $30 for new rowers.
Payment can be made via Zelle to woodbridgecrewtreasurer@gmail.com or by Check made out to Woodbridge Crew Inc.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Make no mistake, conditioning is hard. The coaches will push you to stretch your physical limits on more than just the ergs. Our program is designed with strength, speed, flexibility, proper form, safety and teamwork in mind.

Conditioning ends with spring tryouts in February. From the last novice to sign up to a returning captain from last year’s state championship boat, everyone goes through the tryouts on one of the two days.
