While Woodbridge Crew is a varsity sport that’s fully sanctioned by Woodbridge Senior High School and the National Capital Area Scholastic Rowing Association, the school does not support the team financially. 100% of the funds used for things like equipment, travel, maintenance, uniforms, boat house usage and regatta registration is completely raised by donations and the spring/fall registration fees.
Our board oversees more than just the fundraising and finances of the program, it includes lifecycle maintenance and replacement of boats, travel and hotel arrangements for away regattas, communication with parents, students and rowing organizations and so much more.
